MIT Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research
The Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research (CEEPR) is 'the focus at MIT for research activity in energy economics since the Centre's founding in the mid-1970's, and in environmental economics since the early 1990s. This web site includes working papers, policy notes and research. 
National Center for Environmental Economics (NCEE) 
The National Center for Environmental Economics is a programme of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The NCEE undertakes research and analyses of the interactions and relationships between the economy and environmental pollution control as well as other aspects of environmental economics.

An important teaching and research institute in Pakistan. Provides information about publications, research programs and graduate training. 
SHODH: the Institute for Research and Development, Nagpur, India 
A group of like-minded people founded SHODH to undertake studies on various socio-economic aspects of rural and tribal population and environmental degradation, to undertake programs for all-round development of rural and tribal areas, to conduct training programs for teachers and students from such areas, to strive and help in efforts for emancipation of women, and child development. 
Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) 
SDPI was founded in August 1992 on the recommendation of the Pakistan National Conservation Strategy (NCS). A good source for empirical and policy related information about environmental issues in Pakistan.
The Beijer International Institute of Ecological Economics, Sweden 
The goal of the Beijer Institute is to foster interdisciplinary activities among natural and social scientists, in order to deepen understanding of the interactions between humans and nature, and to inform management of our common environment. The Institute seeks to realize this goal through a variety of activities, including research and training programs, seminars and conferences, and publications.

World Resources Institute is an independent nonprofit organization. A very good site with access to studies on bio-diversity conservation, natural resource management, non-market valuation, cost benefit analyses etc.
