Environmental Economics Training Committee for Practicing Economists and Non-Economists (EETCPN)  

  1. Terms of Reference
    1. To review the existing training programmes for non-economists in India and selected countries,
    2. To elicit views of user organisations on the syllabi and training methods,
    3. To categorise potential trainees into groups,
    4. To design syllabi for different groups to be covered in five days,
    5. To prepare reading materials, production of manual on environmental economics for decision makers,
    6. To identify experts for preparation of reading materials and lectures,
    7. To identify institutions for conducting training programmes in different regions,
    8. To design special training programmes for practising economists, and
    9. To provide detailed cost estimates for the programme.
